Welcome to Student Accommodation in Carmarthen
Our properties have been developed to provide the very best in accommodation for students with each student having access to well maintained and modern shared facilities: kitchen, bathroom, lounge area, as well as their own bedroom. Some bedrooms are also available with en-suite facilities.
Corona Virus (Covid-19) and the importance of early booking your student accommodation for the period September 15th 2020 until 30th June 2021.
A few students currently in our accommodation have raised questions over what will happen for the coming year. While nobody can say for certain, it seems likely that the after-effects of the virus will be present and everyone will have to work around them. The world will carry on, the College will open and we will be still provide the best accommodation for students in Carmarthen.
Hopefully things will improve before September, but if in a worst case scenario, the virus starts to spread its infections again later in the year, there are locations that might be considered high risk: staying on a cruise ship, a large hotel or in particular, a large block of student accommodation with hundreds of students in close proximity.
Our student accommodation is available in residential houses / areas where any risks should be much lower.
I am sharing the above thoughts now in these difficult times as I wanted to make sure that everyone knows we are planning to provide accommodation as normal for the coming academic year. This will be on a first come first served basis so it is in all our interests that the paperwork for next year is completed as soon as possible.
All students need to fill in guarantor forms and be prepared to sign the contract for the year.
While I’m always confident that our accommodation is the best on offer, there is even more logic in booking a place in one of our quality houses.
Students new to Carmarthen please read this section.
We are still accepting deposits to hold the room based on the property descriptions (this deposit is only used as a sign of good faith and the amount will be deducted from the payment due for the last term). Please speak to us before sending any deposit.
If you are interested, please don’t wait before booking as we need commitments to ensure that continuing to offer our accommodation remains a viable proposition for us.

In keeping with the evidence of the effects of smoking, we request that everyone refrains from smoking inside any of our student homes.
Most of our current students are female. From our experience over the years, we have found that a predominately female occupancy is one that suits most of our students, and is one that provides the most supportive environment.
We will therefore be ensuring that all our student homes retain a predominately female residence.
Please note that, as in most accommodation agreements, all our students will need to provide guarantor forms as part of the reservation / booking process. These forms are simply for a person 'of standing' (often parents) to give a financial guarantee for the duration of your booking.
Ideal for first year students, this is a substantial student home providing 15 bedrooms (including 3 ensuite). Excellent location in a quiet street just 10 mins easy walk from Trinity College and Coleg Sir Gar's Jobs Well Campus - and about the same distance to the town centre. Parking is available in its own private car park (shared with The Cottage).
This could really suit first and second year students from the Trinity Campus and Coleg Sir Gar's Jobswell Campus as an alternative to the College's own accommodation. Picton Place is ideally situated and offers a great environment to make new friends and enjoy comfortable accommodation - and superb value for money.

A smaller student home that is situated in Picton Place, providing 4 bedrooms (including 2 en-suite). Excellent location in a quiet street just 10 mins easy walk from Trinity College and Coleg Sir Gar's Jobs Well Campus - and about the same distance to the town centre.
Parking is available in its own private car park (shared with Picton Place).
Built in 2009, this student home provides modern facilities with 6 bedrooms (including 1 en-suite). Located in Picton Place, it offers quiet location - just 10 mins easy walk from Trinity College and Coleg Sir Gar's Jobs Well Campus - and about the same distance to the town centre. Ample off road parking is available.
Meysydd y Coleg
Situated on a very recent development of executive homes, this property offers a very high standard of accommodation giving 6 bedrooms (including 1 ensuite) together with a location that is only about 2 minutes away from Trinity College (handy if you sleep late!). Ample parking with all modern appliances. Accommodation for students doesn't come better than this - unless of course you choose another one of our properties.
Llwyn yr Eos
Another of our top range houses offering the best in accommodation for our students.
This lovely executive home is perhaps in the best location of all our houses as it is less than two minutes away from Trinity College. It comprises of six bedrooms (including two en-suite), and a large communal lounge. The kitchen is comprehensively equipped with: a dining area, two cookers, a fridge freezer and a microwave as well as a separate utility room with a washing machine and sink unit. Ample parking and a rear lawned garden complete this lovely property.
Built in 2011, this student home provides modern facilities with 6 bedrooms (including 1 en-suite). Located in Picton Place, it offers quiet location adjacent to another of our properties - just 10 mins easy walk from Trinity College and Coleg Sir Gar's Jobs Well Campus - and about the same distance to the town centre. Ample off road parking is available.
