A very high quality house.  The best student accommodation we looked at by far.  The landlords have been helpful when need be and have communicated well with us.  They have truly made us feel at home. 

It has been a great experience living off-campus, giving us a chance to gain more independence.

The en-suite bedroom is of a large size, very spacious and immaculately decorated.  Facilities in the house have been of benefit with and added bonus of a dish washer for the added benefit of the busier / lazier student who wouldn't want to get their hands all wrinkly.

Carmarthen is a lively and beautiful place to live.  It has a good student night life and shops to cater for everyone.

This house is a must have.

Landlords very helpful - anything broken, they fix it, any issues and they're over straight away.

Lovely house with something always going on.  Just a big family that cares about each other, which is good when homesick or had a busy stressful day in uni or work.

With the college only 10 mins away, it makes you work harder as you can be there late and mass produce pieces of printwork, plan photo-shoots and talk to staff whenever.

My bedroom is small, but I chose the smaller one (cheaper).

Landlords always help when it's needed.

College has good tutors.  The Campus is big but not too big.

Carmarthen has plenty of shops with everything you need.

Nightlife - Union always busy.  Carmarthen town is OK, few small pubs.

Kitchen is good for cooking.

I love living here, always having people in the house is comforting and also a great time.  Meeting people from different courses helps develop and widen your friendship circles, which makes for a better time when we all go out together and meet even more new people.

I lived at the Cottage for my final year at University studying an MBA, I shared the house with 3 other friends and we spent really nice evenings all together having dinner in the big kitchen and chatting in the large lounge room. My room was Bedroom Two with partial en suite, and it was bright and warm, even in the winter, and it had loads of space, which made it a very comfy room!

I think the Cottage is perfectly situated in a quiet area of town, 5 minutes walk from Tesco, with a lush park in front of the house, about 10 minutes walk from Trinity and about 7 minutes from the centre of Carmarthen, perfect for running quick errands, walking to class, and even for saving on taxis on our fun nights out!

But all these good things would count for nothing it weren’t for the great landlords the Cottage has. From day one they made us feel welcomed, and made our stay at the house the most comfortable possible. In my 6 years at university, 3 in Spain and 3 in Wales, I haven’t had such wonderful landlords, so concerned for their tenants and so helpful, on the short breaks when every local student went home and I stayed alone in the house, they always expressed concern for my wellbeing and made sure I was alright. They even invited all their tenants to a small Christmas dinner in a local restaurant!

My name is Martina Davies. I lived in the cottage at Picton Place for a year and I loved every minute of it! It's a big, spacious house with a lovely garden! The kitchen is really big, plenty of space for students who are sharing! The bedrooms are also really spread out so there's plenty of privacy but a great living room for socializing too! The location is perfect! Just a short, enjoyable walk from town center, the park, Tesco, and also a short walk up to the University! The house has plenty of parking space and has a massive park just across the road! I would highly recommend this house to any student who is looking for a homely, cosy, and clean student house! You won't want to leave!
